Whether you have carpeted stairs or bare steps, vacuuming them is the quickest and simplest way to get them clean. If your floor vacuum has various attachments, use the attachment that is meant for the stairs. If not, be sure to have a lightweight, go-anywhere vacuum that can be used for multiple purposes. A hand-held vacuum is great on stairs, the interior of your vehicle, and for those quick cleanups around the house that even kids can easily use. A cordless one will allow more freedom, yet the corded one give you piece of mind never having to worry about a dead battery. The choice is yours.
